Therapeutic Approaches

Relational Psychotherapy

Relational psychotherapy offers a safe container for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with someone who gets it. It may help you understand the reasons for the current struggles or distress and find pathways to transformation and healing. This work can help shift difficult relational dynamics and lead to an enlivened sense of self.

Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a model of therapy that helps you listen inside: the goal is to understand and address what happens when you feel stuck, hurt, upset, or have a strong reaction to people and events. IFS explores the protective strategies we have developed to keep us safe; however, these strategies might now be keeping us out of connection with ourselves and others. Together we can offer healing to your internal system and create a greater sense of inner safety. When the internal system heals, your external relationships can start to feel different as well.
